Project Scope
Our support technicians will access your PC or laptop remotely using an internet connection, enabling us to take control of your machine and run our system tools. This access is temporary, and requires you to allow us to connect, leaving you safe in the knowledge that you’re not opening up a security risk.
During your PC Healthcheck we will run software to provide a full check for:
Applications:
To provide visibility of every application that is installed on your device:
Configuration:
To provide visibility of the status and health of the memory, processors and hard drive in your device
Malware:
To undertake a full scan for malware threats such as:
- Viruses
- Worms
- trojan horses
- Ransomware
We’ll leave this anti-malware software running on your device for a further month after the PC Health Check, to make doubly sure there are no additional malware threats. After the additional month we’ll remotely disable the software, unless of course you wish to continue using it.
